- Rocky2ExplorerYou might check many of the Oregon State Parks with Yurts. 8 hours gives you a wide range of options.
- bikendanExplorerI don't know of any place with RV sites, tent sites and cabins, that will accept pit Bulls.
You're talking about family-oriented campground so a pit bull will probably be a banned breed. - azdryheatExplorerYou described a KOA. There aren't too many, if any, parks that allow a pitbull.
- AcampingwewillgExplorer IINot that I'm real big on suggesting Thousand Trail membership Park's but most on them fit the bill as to RV sites, cabin's and tent sites. Even though I'm a member, I'm not sure if every TT Park is open to the public but Lake of the Springs is one park that comes to mind and there are a number of locations up SF way. Good Luck and have a Great reunion!!
- korbeExplorerLake Siskiyou Resort comes to mind. We had a family reunion there one summer.
Lake Tahoe has a few resorts. - LwiddisExplorer IIHmmm... unfortunately Tom's Place, a private business with cabins and a restaurant, and French Camp, a Forest Service campground nearby and on US Hwy 395, are more than 8 hours from you,...and you'll miss the High Sierras :(
