If the trail Bumpas Hell is open, it is a miniaturized Yellowstone - without the crowds. The visitors center on the west side should be open & accessible from ReddIng, which is where you should leave that awesome motorhome of yours. Premier RV is your best bet, with JGW in Anderson next. Also want to visit Lake Shasta Caverns. And the dam tour. Take 299 to Eureka. Probably still have ongoing road construction. Avoid it during the weekends.
