Currently staying at the Family campground at White Tank Mountain park. $32.00 day, with elec and water ,45 ft site, well groomed, nice view, lots of hiking trails, etc etc.
We are very pleased with our stay. Check it out by searching white tank AZ campgrounds.

Lake Paradise, north of Phoenix, is pretty nice too. I've stayed at Cave Creek county park too. I cannot say anything bad about it. Very nicely kept.
