- memtbExplorerHopefully “Not” overcast! :)
- CaFordGuyExplorerFor those into night photography, the website "Fstoppers" has a couple if good articles on it. In particular on on photographing the Geminids.
https://fstoppers.com - memtbExplorerWe saw a few last night from here at the house. Very clear skies, and no moon, and warmer than usual....optimal viewing! We hope to be better prepared tonight, and spend more time out!
If the neighbor (about 600 yards away) would just turn off the lighting around his barn...it would be “pitch dark”! :( - memtbExplorerBummer! We had light cloud cover last night!
- vermilyeExplorerI sat outside in the cool (49°F) night at Quartzsite, La Post West. Too close to the city & I 10 for really dark skies, but I did see quite a few. I took photos of a couple. Most are crops but the second one is a full frame image of a long lasting one (Sorry about the airplane!
I'll try for some more tonight... - profdant139Explorer IIJon, well done! We were north of Bishop, Calif, for the shower -- it was really good. Full trip report will soon follow. No photos of meteors, though -- it was very cold and windy, so we sat outside all bundled up. Not exactly good camera weather.
