Being a Blues lover, hubby and I would like to take a tour thru Mississippi Delta to see, hear and feel old timey Blues this coming summer starting in Memphis and then going south. Only problem is DH is disabled so a lot of walking isn't any option. Any recommendations 1)food to try. 2) places to visit and 3) places to camp. Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much. I know that summer isn't the best time, but its the only time that we have right now. I came here once and asked about sights in Louisiana and
got such great info we had a blast so thanks for your suggestions I have bookmarked them all.

I was told Morgan Freeman sold his share in Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale. But still a must see.

Pay close attention to your fellow patrons. Morgan Freeman is a regular visitor to several joints in the area. Also suggest you write to his publicist and ask for names and locations of those that he likes the best.

Do the Blues Museum for sure. Also Ground Zero Blues Club. I if you're coming down from the Memphis area there is at least one COE campground near Tunica MS. Also casino campgrounds near Tunica.
It's been a few years, but I recall a low railroad underpass in Clarksdale.
I used to follow a website that had music venues and performers schedules, also festivals. You might do some Googling for that.
If your not used to heat and humidity you might consider spring or fall rather than summer.
Edit add....you may as well go west to Louisiana and find some classic Cajun music, since you will be nearby.

Go to Clarksdale. The blues museum is a must! There is great eating, esp the BBQ at the crossroads (where Robert Johnson supposedly sold his soul). The fairgrounds in Clarksdale has a RV park that is OK and has good access to all venues. We went a few years ago and it was superb! So much music history to see, including sites dedicated to Etta James, Son House, and others. Would love to go back!
