Montana - Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center

We were there a few years ago and it was wolf feeding time. It was so amazing as they described how the wolf pack eats in a certain order, and that is exactly what went down. I also agree it's worth a visit if you are there! Plus, I've never seen so many mosquito's as I have in that town!!

I've been there as well. There is an admission fee as its a private operation, but it isn't much and you'll be as close to a Grizzly as you'll ever want to be. One of the Grizzlies jobs is to check out new bear box designs. I've seen them get into one in a couple of minutes and they don't use a key. They just bash it against a rock a couple of times and it pops right open. A sobering sight. The admission fee goes towards the expenses associated with relocating the Grizzlies to the Montana wilderness. If one returns, they arrange to ship the repeat offender to a zoo, but its a last resort.
You can "adopt" a bear for a child and they'll send the child a "get acquainted" package. They don't actually send the bear. :)

This is in West Yellowstone just outside of Yellowstone. If you're in the area it is a worthwhile stop.
