You'll be fine. A wipe down with a soapy wash cloth and a little water works fine for basic cleaning. (Wet Wipes work really well, too.) Only do dishes once a day, with just a little hot water and soap. Be conservative about lights and furnace, pile blankets on the bed and use those battery powered push on / off lights. My showers are really quick things - rinse, turn the water off to soap up, then rinse again. Done in under 5 minutes, and that includes washing and conditioning my hair. I use a french press for coffee. The kettle boiling on the stove helps warm the trailer up first thing in the morning.

I can be out for a week with my 30 gallon fresh tank and my portable 100 watt solar panel. My big limitation is the grey water tank. It's little. I pour my dish water down the toilet into the black water tank to extend my time between dump trips.

His first time w/o hook ups should have been his first four campouts to test all systems and to determine his limitations as to water, electricity, holding tanks etc. in his driveway or very close to home. Now he's going far from home and knows nuttin' about his RV or capacities.

Hey, give the guy a break. He says it's his first time w/o hookups. We were all there once. I'm happy he's trying it. Once he realizes how to go about it, all sorts of new and exciting camping opportunities will open up for him.

Just past the entrance booth, there is a potable water connection that's easily accessible, if you should need to refill your tank. There is also a dump station there. It's located on the right side as you're going into the loop area and the turn off for E loop.

A shower, if done judiciously, can be over in 5-7 minutes with minimal water. Depends on how many people will be showering in the course of any given day. AND...there are solar shower bays in A loop, you have to bring your own solar bags and water, but it's available and doable.

If you're like most folks that are staying in Moraine Park, you'll likely not spend a whole lot of time in camp. Turn off everything that you can when you're not there. You'll not need A/C there, it may get into the upper 70s or so during the day, but cools down significantly in the evening and after dark. You'll be putting on the fleece and hoodies!

Being June, you'll have lots of hours of daylight so you won't need lights very much. If you get cold easily, bring an extra blanket. You shouldn't need the furnace.

As far as showers, one of the first places I always think of in a town is the community pool. Even though we have a shower, we still go to a pool once in a while for a loooong, warm shower. Usually fairly cheap plus I can get a swim in as well. Unfortunately, the Estes Park Pool is closed all summer for a remodel :(

There used to be a couple of laudromats in EP that also had showers. Can't vouch for them as it's been too many years.
