Yup. It happened today. A guest with a toybox 5 er pulled in today onto his months ago requestedby # reserved end of line PT site. They are new at this life. After convincing him to park the rig this away for leveling, toy tailgate, truck and M/C parking, all seemed well. Then she comes to the office upset that the site is 'too private, it will be the worst 2 weeks of her life" . When shes building a campfire on the drivers side, in an adjoining site, I ask your firepit is on the other side? why are you building a fire here on a someone elses site? "Our site firering is too far away" . Some people have to have walls

Just a short stint helping a friend at his RV Park reinforced what I knew to be true all along.......I COULD NOT WORK WITH THE PUBLIC!!!

It sure sounds like they are the people who show up when I am at a 250 site state park and literally the only person there, then take the site right beside or across the road from us which usually is the crappiest and smallest site in the campground.

Reminds me of a fellow that complained about a site that I recommended for the view of the ships passing by as they locked through on the St Lawrence Seaway. Said it was too private, too quiet, and they saw a raccoon by their picnic table one night. :R

Those very folks came to look at a house we had for sale a few years ago. She rejected it as too isolated because the neighbor on one side had bought the lot between for his garden and the folks across the street had a hedge that hid their house from view. For what it’s worth, I like having a fire ring far enough away from the camper to keep the smoke at bay. Please resist the temptation to stick another site in there for her.

I bet I have met those people. It sure sounds like they are the people who show up when I am at a 250 site state park and literally the only person there, then take the site right beside or across the road from us which usually is the crappiest and smallest site in the campground.

I do all the time, part of my business. Why I have a .com site. People (idiots) are much easier to deal with when they are just an electronic signature.

I get them in my brick front store too. When I get irritated with them, I walk away and let an employee deal with it.

I don't have much patience for stupidity and there are a boatload of 'stupid's' out there today. I'm amazed that some of them can actually breathe correctly.

WOW! This is the best response that I can muster! We don’t, though likely will increase, camp in campgrounds/parks very much.......cannot fathom, “too private”! Generally, in our world, “if” we can see them.....they’’re “too” close! :B

One thing I have to remember with the public is, they are all different. Everyone has an opinion. We work in a very nice campground, and we still read comments that make you wonder.
