NE Pennsylvania, Northern NJ, Tappen Zee Area RV Park?

Question

We are vacationing at Woodloch Pines Resort in NE Pennsylvania next August for a few days. We are traveling from Long Island and plan on taking the Tappen Zee. I’m contemplating bringing the camper up and dropping it off at a campground along the way and then heading to Woodloch. Then when we are done with Woodloch, head back to the camper for a few days before returning home.

At the very least we need a place with full hookups for our camper.

We also may need a place that have rental cabins, tent sites or a decent hotel nearby. Fishing, archery/rifle ranges, and kid friendly activities are a huge bonus.

Any RV places along the way that might work?

Croton Point Park might be one possibility.  It's a pretty nice county park with a beach, fishing, athletic fields, etc. and quite close to commuter rail to the city (though, being from long island, that latter part is perhaps of less interest than to someone like me from someplace not readily connected to New York City).
