If your looking for paved sites I would recommend looking at these two

River Ranch Texas RV Resort is located in town right on I-35 or should I say under it. But is right on the river.

Camp Huaco Springs is located on river road at the first river crossing. I believe it's the best on the river with full FHU's.

Thanks, Chief but one wont allow dogs over 25 pounds and the other wont allow any dogs so their both out.

Only place I have stayed was on the river, back in, no concrete but ten feet from the river. We have looked at many other campgrounds in the area but like Second Crossing RV Park the best.

I think you would enjoy Hill Country RV Resort in New Braunfels. We have stayed there and found it to be good for us. Right off I35. Safe travels.
