New Route South for us.

This year we are leaving Ontario through Sarnia/Port Huron. We won't be leaving until early Dec. We have a couple of year round campgrounds for the start of the trip but we are looking for suggestions for campgrounds along the I69/I65 route. We plan on hitting Williston Crossing and then on to North Fort Myers for Christmas through to at least the end of Feb. I have looked on rv park reviews but I was interested in suggestions from those who do this route south. Thanks

We stay at Grandma's and Deer Run and
Texas T in south Tenn. both on our way
to Florida and return to Ontario.
All easy on easy off and very helpful and
friendly.
fyi Although a slightly longer route (we go
slow and take our time anyway) we much prefer
I65 over I75 and I77...much easier and relaxing
drive.

I missed the I65. Try these parks:
http://www.grandmasrvcamping.net/index.html This park is just South of Louisville, Ky. Great park.

http://www.deerrunrvpark.com/ This park is just South of Troy, Alabama. The finest owners in the business. USA Today, Coffee, Lemonade, Pop Corn, Visit your site to see if everything is OK.

Both are just off the highway, but no noise.

Thanks for the response. I can't travel more than 4 -5 hours so we are still looking for more campgrounds in between. Keep them coming and thanks again.

In Nashville TN, Two Rivers RV Park is where we stayed.
There are KOA's in Bowling Green and Horse Cave KY if you go that route.
Joe Wheeler State Park in Rogersville AL
In Montgomery AL, Capital City RV park is where we stay. If you want more rustic, try Fort Toulouse campground in Wetumpka AL.

Port Huron to Clarksville IN is 421 miles and you should be able to do it in 8 hours. Clarksville has 2 RV parks. Addmorervpark and Louisville KOA. My personal opinion is that the KOA is way overpriced but with Addmore you must have cash or a check. They do not take credit cards. Addmore is about 1 mile from the expressway while the KOA is right up against it therefore more noise.
Clarksville IN to Atlanta GA is 423 miles but you are limited in RV parks immediately north of Atlanta. On the bypass South there are a couple between Atlanta and Macon.
I've been to all 50 States but my RV hasn't.

Thanks Jeb5. We are going to take our time so we are still looking for other campgrounds in between. I have difficulty riding in a vehicle for long hours so we don't do the straight down as fast as we can thing. Thanks again.
