Can anyone recommend a CG in Idaho Falls near the walking trail? Thank you. Betsy.

While I did not watch the video. I did see a picture of the sites. Didn't seem that extravagant to me.
The sites are paved with fire pits and a few rocks.
I do not consider that over the top.

Sure the cost of development is high, but the there is no need for all the fluff. And there are other suitable options in the IDF area.

I think everyone needs to consider what is cost to develop a park.
The infrastructure and environmental cost are daunting.
Now we want fully grown trees an a wooded atmosphere on day one!
Of course we want it all, including full hook ups for $50.00 or less a night
I think we need to adjust our expectations.
By the way if I were in the area the new place is certainly something I would check out and give it a try at least once.

Rates. $100-$200 a night for that place? No thanks.

While we prefer woodsy state CG's, there's no denying these types of places are very popular wherever they open and there's a lot of people who prefer the wide open feeling. We have a new one in a small, semi-remote town (Sultan, Wa.) that gets $65+/night. Even though there's no real amenities or anything to do, it stays fairly full - enough so that they're expanding.
We need more capacity and I say if people like them (and they seem to), I for one am glad these places are springing up and gobbling up campers.

Looks like they at least provided a little room between sites. "Luxury"??? A few washing machines, pickleball courts, and a community fireplace hardly constitutes Luxury IMO but ok lol. Personally we like being in the woods when we head out. If I want to be in a wide open field sitting on a hardscape patio we can do that in the back yard at home.

I'm a simple man no need for luxury, the wife does like things that sparkle so you know where the money goes.
