wife and i were there last september. we stayed at branches of niagara. enjoyed it. spent 1 day at the us side and 1 day on the canadian side. canadian side is more scenic in my opinion. take note you will need passport to return the the united states. not to enter canada. if you do travel into canada check out the small town of niagara on the lake just a bit north of niagara falls. beautiful quaint town. skylon tower is cool on the canadian side. gotta pay to park at the falls but thats expected. we enjoyed it and glad we went. living in north carolina it was a long trip. we spent 8 days total, 4 in niagara falls, then came back south and stayed the rest of the week in lancaster county pa, amish country. to me, niagara falls is similar to pearl harbor, the volcano in hawaii, very interesting to visit but once is enough have no desire to go back.
