Hey Campers,My adult kids live in three different western states (CA, CO, and WY). We picked Bryce Canyon, Utah as a central spot to meet for a week in late March or early April.I'm looking for a nice RV park in the area for us to stay for the week. We'll use that as our base camp for hiking and exploring the national park.We have a 44' fifth wheel with slides, so we need a long space, hopefully with 50A service.Any recommendations?Thanks,Dave & Family

Ruby's will definitely be the most convenient. As mentioned above, ask for one of the large sites in the back. Should be plenty of room.

Looking closer at all of our kids' schedules, it looks like we'll be a week to early. We want to go that last week in March, but it looks like Ruby's and some of the other nearby parks open in April.

With good reason the park is at 8000 ft and the average low temp for the month of April is 29

You might try looking at Kodachrome Basin State Park.

It is not far (about 20 miles)and is a great setting They are open March 1 to December 1 I think. Not sure how big the sites are but some are pretty good sized and they do have some full hookups might be worth a call. They are down below the park should be a bit warmer down there too (about 2000 ft less elevation) as it will still be quite cool in Bryce at the end if March.

March is going to be cold and even April. Ruby's is the best in that area.

Look at the KOA in Cannonville. Not a fan of KOA but this one worked a few years ago. If the owners are the same, they know a lot about exploring the area. Not too bad a "commute" to Bryce. Maybe 45 minutes to an hour. Cannonville is much lower and warmer in March. Check current reviews on rvparkreviews.com. However, Kodachrome Basin is a really nice spot. There is also a state park just south Red Canyon I believe. Nice spot, not sure of the season opening dates. There are also several others in the area according to rvparkreviews.com Have fun. Very pretty place, but make sure you have clothing for 20 to maybe 70 degrees.
