North Beach Campground - Villano/St. Augustine, FL

Just came off a weekend trip to North Beach Campground in Villano Beach, and here are my impressions:

Bath House - Clean, AC'd, Sufficient
Kid Friendly - Very much so
Noise Level - Very quiet, though we stayed on the backside of the campground, don't know how it would be closer to A1A
Size of Site - Kind of tight IMO, but there appeared to be a sufficient treeline/brush separation between most sites
FHU - sufficient, we didn't have any trouble with the 30A service, did not connect to the cable TV, water was smelly ;-)
Security - gated entrance with code
Facilities - clean, well maintained, good pool, nice staff

Overall, it was a nice place right across the road from the beach, and only a short walk to the Intracoastal Waterway. There's an average restaurant behind the campground with good views of the river (facing west). Traffic wasn't too bad in the campground. Its St. Augustine, so there's tons of stuff to do...Camping World about 15 to 20 minutes away.

Thanks much for the HT. Kindly post your review at Trip Advisor too so other RVers can know about it. Here's the link Trip Advisor Villano Beach, FL
  • I'll try the TripAdvisor site again. I did it once before and it didn't work out. Happy to share my experiences if it helps someone else.
