I'll be headed acorss the Northern part of the country out to Seattle in September. A lot of it will be US2 going west. I imagine for the most part, civilzation will be pretty sparse. Any suggesting for What to look for or avoid when starting to look for a place for the night? 19' Coleman TT with Ford F150 dual cab.

Best way to see your country...and every single small town you roll thru will have a city park and I have yet to see one that forbids overnight parking. And there will be many small RV/camping places too, along the way.

Plus, big box store parking lots are readily avialable. If you are traveling the city park/big box route, you may want this...

September is such a great month to do the run. Lots of cattle movement to be seen as you move into the west. Get some prairie oysters here and there.

uscampgrounds.info lets you search on a map and shows info for city, county, state, and federal campgrounds all over the country. A lot of small towns have city parks with campgrounds, and a lot of fairgrounds have campsites.

Campgrounds were very thin on the ground in Montana east of Glacier. People are very nice, forget about cell phone signals except in towns.
