Northern Colorado CGs CLOSED Memorial Day Weekend

Due to heavy snow, some of the popular campgrounds in the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest will NOT be opening for Memorial Day Weekend due to the heavy snow on May 18/19. This also includes some of the CGs in the Grand Lake/Granby area that are in the Arapaho NF. H E R E - Fort Collins Coloardoan is an article from today's Fort Collins Coloradoan listing the CGs that are CLOSED as well as tne ones that are OPEN.

The list does not include Rocky Mountain National Park, but I called the Rangers there, and they said that, barring any additional snowfall, Glacier Basin should open on schedule May 26th, and Moraine Park is already open for the season.
