Northern Highlands Am. Legion SF- northern Wisconsin

We are thinking of heading up this weekend to the above SF. I have spent time reviewing their website and see they have a lot of walk-up sites not needing reservations. Some of their CGs are mostly reserved sites, though. All dry-camping. We are interested in the following CGs: Carrol Lake, Indian Mounds, Buffalo Lake, and Clear Lake. I am wondering if anyone has any experience and comments on any of them. I especially wonder if we can find a site on late Friday afternoon. :)

We are just trying to camp close to Minocqua-Woodruff. Not going fishing or boating, just looking for a nice camp in the northwoods.
