Ocean Lakes at Myrtle Beach, SC Update?
Surely someone has been there recently. How's the new water park coming along? Does it appear they're still on track to open it up by Memorial Day weekend?

- I'm no facebooker but I see they have the website "construction cam". It definitely looks ready to go.
Construction Cam - FYI-I saw a post from Ocean Lakes on Facebook that they are doing a ribbon cutting at 10am 5/27. They will open the water park after the ribbon cutting.
- Status of Ocean Lakes waterpark in Myrtle Beach Campground is that they are on target to open the waterpark within the next week if all inspections go as planned.
- This is in south carolina right? Sorry just couldn't help myself.lol we've not been to ocean lakes in about 5 years,wife likes pirateland better so we go their.she's happy I'm happy all right in the world,I'd still like to go try out the new water park but don't tell her.
- I actually talked to them yesterday and they are shooting for Memorial Day weekend to have it opened.
- Yes they are on track. See recent photos on Facebook. Water is in and they are testing the systems and lights.
