Read all the reviews on line, thought I'd get input from here. Just an overnight. We will be on I-40. Need at least electric. Mustang Run RV, Oklahoma City East KOA or Roadrunner RV??? Any opinions, would like to stay near I40.

If you need a place to stay traveling west on I-40 near the Texas state line is the town of Elk City,OK. The city has a nice park with 5 RV spaces on the lake. For Free.:) We have stayed there several times crossing TX and OK. Elk City Lake Park

Thanks, I didn't know you could do that. Stupid me! I really never even noticed those categories at the top!

We stayed at Mustang Run in 2016 and thought it was really nice. It is a fairly new park.

Stayed at the OK city KOA in June on our 5k mile western trip. As I recall it was good, friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed at the Bar H Bar RV Park about 48 miles east of the I-40/I-35 intersection at exit 200 of I-40. It's a travelers park with very long concrete pads and 2 50 amp hookups for those Prevosts that come in! :B It's behind the Shell station where you check in. Rates were 20/nite this spring when we came through. Though right next to I-40 we didn't notice any excessive noise and it's a very convenient off/on. You can see a short write up for it on our blog entry for that stop.

We've stayed at Rockwell RV Park for the last couple of years. Nothing fancy but good enough for an overnighter. Visit Bill the bison that lives there.
