Oregon Coast

We have tent camped at Harris, Humbug, Bullard, and Sunset Bay, and we love all of them. Harris is the closest and thus the most frequently visited. I would also say it is probably our favorite, but it's a tight field. The only times we've taken the trailer to the coast so far have been to visit Redwoods KOA in Crescent City, and Irelands in Gold Beach, so I can't be comment on how those state campgrounds are for RV'ing. That said, they are all well maintained with good roads, and have tons of people bringing in large RV's all the time. Harris has some premium spots (which must be reserved well in advance) where you park at the crest of a vista and have spectacular ocean views. We hope to snag one some day...
