Oregon Coast?

We are looking at camping along the coast. We have stayed at Beverly Beach and Ft. Stevens. We are going for 5-10 days in July. We loved both of those parks but July is a busy time (DUH) for the coast. Anybody have a place that has openings this late in the year? With a tent trailer and possibly a tent the available spots are not easy to find.
  • The farther south the better. Start looking south of Reedsport.
  • We found Humbug Mountain to be way less busy. There have been spots there when everything else was full.
There is a short walk to a nice beach. Not too busy.

I looked online on https://oregonstateparks.reserveamerica.com/welcome.do?tti=Home Reserve America

There are sights at Bullards Beach. Not all 8 days in a row. Try to find 2 or 3 campgrounds with spots. NOW

With a tent trailer might take a look at Beachside SP, it is what the name implies, right on the beach.
  • Cape Blanco SP is first come first served. We found this camp in mid week, mid July. Don't know how busy the weekends are. Beautiful beach and the lighthouse is interesting. Very nice campground.

X2 but I hesitate to recommend it because it's a hidden jewel! Ooops... now I've done it. We've always gotten a site there with our 40' MH. Pull in the morning when folks are leaving.
