Not sure why no one has mentioned the Port of Newport campground
It is on the south side of the harbor over the bridge - full hookups - we liked it
$40 a day or $250 for a week

You can book online
Probably because it's just a blacktop parking lot.
Yep, just like Wal-mart!
But no full hookups and cable - I do not think the one in Newport allows over night camping
The only other Walmart on the Coast is Coos Bay - rhagfoExplorer III

Having lived many years in Lincoln City on the coast - in June its almost impossible to find anything let alone full hookups - goducks10Explorer

Be wary of the inside sites. Most are at a 90* angle and short. Other than that we've been there many times. Usually only if Beverly Beach is booked. You're still only minutes from town. If you can check out Nana's. Great food.
X2 to Nana's! and a short 2 mile hike or bike ride to the Rouge Brewery & distillery!
Yes, but I have seen some pretty big rigs squeezed in to those sites during the Newport Seafood and Wine fest. - goducks10ExplorerBe wary of the inside sites. Most are at a 90* angle and short. - goldsp8ExplorerI would not hesitate to stay in South Beach. As was said, if you can get a reservation, get it soon.
- Mr_BigglesExplorerStayed there July 2015. Very nice park. Enjoyed our visit. Book early !
