We live north of Baltimore and granddaughter is getting married in Florida in November. DC and Richmond traffic sucks, so we plan to leave after 6 on Thursday, get past Richmond and find a place for the night.
We will be traveling in a 37 foot motor home pulling a 4 down toad, probably with 3 dogs and a passenger or two.
Can anyone recommend a place south of Richmond were we can spend the night with our slides out? We prefer a campground so we can easily shower the next morning, but any safe place will do.
Thanks in advance

Not to be contrary but Just get on the road as soon as you get off work - a 4 o'clock start might put you in some slow traffic - but it will also likely put 75+ miles further down the road, which IMHO might be worth it on the long drive Friday.
As bad as the traffic is it will likely beat driving late and trying to hook up around midnight.
Just a Thought,
