Palm Springs RV storage

Good afternoon,

We hope to be out of Alberta before the end of October! We will end up in the Palm Springs, Cal. area by December.

Thanks to Westjet seat sales, we are flying out of PS to return home for Christmas ( grand daughter drawing us home......)

We are looking for any recommendations for one month RV storage in the Palm Springs to Indio area for our truck and trailer. When I checked on line, the rates were pretty pricey compared what we are used to paying in the Phoenix area when we have done this in the past.

Thanks in advance for any help and information.

Gord
  • Try Two Springs Rv Resort in North Palm Springs . Gated and 45 x 60 lots and lots of Albertans
  • As others have indicated, the best bet may to find an RV park when you arrive in December that has storage on-site (then move the RV into storage and take it back to your site when you return), or just leave the RV parked on your spot when you are away if the price isn't excessive.

We just left our RV on our site In Borrego Springs when we did a trip over to Hawaii but it wasn't as long as a month, if you are away just over Christmas you may want to consider doing the same thing, maybe a bit more expensive but less hassle (and you don't have to worry about a cold snap if you have it plugged in).
  • There is a storage place in Cat city that we gave used before. Reasonable rates. Right on Date palm/Ramon road, kinda in the back of the plaza. We'll be down there in a few weeks. Send me a PM if you want me to eyeball any specific spot. We base in Outdoor Resorts off Ramon so it is literally around the corner.

Look for RV parks in the surrounding areas of Palm Springs which will be less $$$ and expensive and just rent a site for a month or as long as you are going to be away. RV parks/resorts right in Palms are pretty pricey$$$$$
