- LakejumperExplorerThere is a Thousand Trails RV park just north of Healdsburg in Cloverdale. There is Casini Ranch campground in Duncan's Mills (along the Russian River)and there is the Sonoma County Fairgrounds RV park in Santa Rosa. There is also a KOA in Petaluma and one on Cloverdale.

it's not much but it's affordable, by the Russian River and just outside of Healdsburg. - the_bear_IIExplorerWe always stayed in the Armstrong Redwoods Natl Park when we were up in that area. Very beautiful and majestic. It's a little east of Healdsburg.
It may be hot that time of the year.
Blackberries are ripe in August, You'll find vines everywhere there is a water source. Watch out for the thorns.
