I agree... except for politeness 6 out of 10

weather..
last winter.. 6 (30 pound ) tanks of propane for 5 months
this winter.. 11 tanks of propane for 3 months... with 2 months to go.

yes, I use a spreadsheet(s)..

electric is up 20 percent in usage .. but not per hour price.
motorcycle use and miles traveled are also way down..

Politeness of locals a 10, some of the older gringo Winter Texans not so much. The cool winter must be making them crabby.

No, we shop at a Walmart Marketplace store on Bryant Rd. They rate a 10 except they are often short staffed. Used to shop the HEB Plus on Shary Rd. They also rated a 10 but only there a couple times this season. Hope your HEB is not setting downhill trend in the HEB customer service department Valley wide.

[Pawatt] Here are mine: We are an ownership park, out of 424 lots we only have 3 or 4 vacant.
RV Park fullness 10 out of 10.
Age of park residents, 8 out of 10. We have several new couples this year in their late 50's to mid 60's
Attendance at dances, flea markets, etc. 10 out of 10. For the Rock N Roll dances. 7 out of 10 for Country dances.
Traffic 9 out of 10. There are some crazy drivers out there and also some that can't see. Someone backed into my golf cart yesterday.
Politeness, 9 out of 10 locals. 7 out of 10 for the over 70 Winter Texan Crowd.
Weather, 4 out of 10. Worst weather in our 14 seasons south

The problem is not HEB, it is the customers who use their carts, kids, and cabooses to block the aisles with no consideration of others. It is the people who leave carts in the parking lot that are free to sail into my vehicle. It is the people who block the "15 Item or less" checkout with forty items. I love HEB. The customers are another matter.

Funny about the politeness statements. When I first got here I noticed that I wasn't being treated like a good neighbor anymore. I assumed it had to do with our current administration and the changing attitude toward Mexico.

Now that my face is all tanned out, and people are use to seeing my beat up straw hat, "with a yes sir" "no ma'am" thrown in on my part, I'll go back to a 10 out of 10.

Park is full, but for a much shorter length of time this winter.

Age, well we're all still healthy and young in heart and mind so no change there. The perks of being in a park where there is a max stay limit. Physical age is not a deciding factor, but physical ability is.

Weather... sucks. PO'ed that my park raised their rates by $125 based on the last two winters nice weather. Dreamers. ;)

Because of the bad weather more eating, drinking, shopping, and movies occurred. Less happy hours on RV sites, and grilling out. As they say, an RV sleeps 2, feeds 4, and parties 6. With good weather those numbers don't mean anything. This winter they were gospel.

Runaway carts have always been a problem here from my observation.
Less so in Minnesota and when they do get loose in Minnesota they usually get hung up in a snowbank before they hit a car.

Oh yeah, one more rating.

Went there today with 9 friends that drove down from Rockport to join the wife and I.
We stopped at the Ranch House Burgers there on 1015 for lunch after leaving Mexico.
