Pine Cove Charleroi Pa.

We stayed their several times over the past 4 years. If you have kids (ours are all grown up) then this place has lots of possibilities since they have a huge swimming pool. Campgrounds in the Pittsburgh area are extremely limited and we used this location while visiting family about 35 minutes away.

The last time we stayed there was 2 years ago and we have not returned since. The place seems to be occupied by almost all construction guys that makes lots of noise at 5 am in the morning as they leave for work and then lots of noise at night too. The once night there was a group of men welding a pickup truck at 2 am in the morning while consuming beverages.

The campground owners are not present most of the time so no rules are enforced.

We plan to visit the Pittsburgh area in May and just made our reservations at a different campground. Really to bad because this could be a nice little campground.
