Pinedale, WY discoveries
While research US Hwy 191 which runs through Pinedale, WY and made two fabulous discoveries wanted to share. The first was a big city, university level aquatic center. More than just a competitive Olympic swimming pool, the http://www.pinedaleaquatic.com/#!home/c1gd9Pinedale Aquatic Center (PAC) has fabulous "liesure" pool, hot tubs, weight and exercise rooms, indoor track, rock climbing wall, basketball court that doubles as a community meeting area and so much more. AND it is open to all, even us RVers just passing through! Fabulous! Recommend it to all.

The other discovery was up the road a little way at Daniels Junction. This is where US Hwy 189 branches off US Hwy 191 and heads for Big Piney, WY. That this junction is a little RV park, tiny motel, gas station, and a structure that is a cross between a standard convenience store, a New England general store, and a deli counter. Well, on Fridays the fried chickens and jo-jos (massive french fries), wraps, and such share counter space with the best Prime Rib, lobster, and shrimp (a.k.a. Surf and Turf) you'll ever find available at a gas station! This is worth deliberately planning for. Available only on Fridays from 4 to 9 pm year round. (Our perfect Prime Rib, baked potato, green beans, roll, salad, and beverage was slightly under $20 while the lobster and shrimp version were a little more.) Sitting is very limited so you might have to wait or sit with strangers but when the food is this good, I won't complain.
FYI: The Pinedale Campground, located in town, was a sad disappointment. It would be nice if this campground reflected the rest of Pinedale's quality.
