- bikendanExplorerNeptune's Net restaurant, north of Malibu.
great place to eat and watch the surfers.
Santa Barbara and Stearn's Wharf and the SB Zoo
Solvang and wine tasting in the Santa Ynez Valley
Downtown SLO - Dick_BExplorerI just did a Google search for `California highway 1 sights' and got a ton of websites to peruse.
- Gonzo42ExplorerDitto on the Solvang area. DW and I run up there on a wine buying trip once every year. We like to stay at Flying Flags in Buellton, and run around with the toad.
- GeobikerExplorerDon't forget the Ronald Reagan Museum in Simi Valley. Special exhibit the Titanic is great

The OP is only going from LA to Morro Bay, way south of the slide closure. - Gonzo42ExplorerYeah, that should keep the southern great unwashed from soiling the elite's domiciles around Carmel.
