Port Clinton/Camp Perry Campgrounds???

I am trying to make a plan to visit the Port Clinton, OH, area later this summer and would really appreciate a few good suggestions for campgrounds in the general area?

Thanks!
  • Depends on what you have planned there are several really nice campground in that area. Going to the island there are four near the Ferries and Cedar Point has a nice camp ground on site and a couple in the area!
  • East Harbor State Park is a good campground for that area. There are some sites with full hook-up if I remember correctly, check out the Ohio State Parks website...

I'm already a BIG fan! Been to the North Store several times and the South Store once. Then they come out each year to the CMP Western Games/Creedmoor Cup in Phoenix. Can't beat a nice Garand!
  • Not too far away is Kelly's island. Well worth the ferry cost and also has a state park. The island also has the Glacial Grooves, which are fascinating and free.
