Private property in TN offering overnight RV parking 8/20

I know it's kind of late in the game but two of my grandchildren have asked if we can go somewhere in the motor home to see the solar eclipse.

We live near Birmingham and would prefer somewhere between Sweetwater and Nashville, Tennessee. I have called several campgrounds and they don't seem to have anything or know of anyone else who has campsites available.

We are fine with boondocking sites and plan to return Monday afternoon.

These people might let you park a RV

near Watts Bar

I found these quickly on Nashville, Clarksville, and Chattanooga Craigslist.

thats a good idea ,get on craigs list in that area and ask.
