"Memphis RV. Camping"!

Question

Am checking on Tom Sawyers camp ground in Memphis.
Is right on the Mississippi. Nice level sites. Just a few yards from the Mi.
We were there two years ago and got the worse case of "Chiggars"! Don't want
To experience that again if I can help it.
I am aware that there are no guarantees. But has anyone been there this year?
They said that year they were so bad cause of the flooding.doesnt the Mi.
Flood about every year?

I don't know, but since I'll be there in OCT I'll be watching this one.

We were just there in April and water levels were very low.  There is signs at CG showing the flood levels and almost hard to imagine the water levels that high.   There is link right on the website that shows the water levels and flood stage that we used as were worried about Spring rains/snow melt but it was never a concern.

We were there in April also. I know it flooded after we were there. Enjoyed watching  the tow go by.
