We are considering a trip through Idaho, especially the west and panhandle are. Looking for suggestions on what to see and RV campgrounds, both full hookups and forest service. Will be there in July and August.

Farragut State Park between Couer d'Alene and Sandpoint on Lake Pend Oreille is a beautiful camping park. All options for camping available. They usually say they are full but often times have openings for no shows. The Lake is 47 miles long and 1200 feet deep. Only 11% of the shoreline is developed. Gorgeous for sure. We have a summer house on the Lake and drive our Isata 3 between Chicago and the Lake House.

Good info above. Also July Aug bring a shovel to help put out forest fires.
Also look up county campgrounds. There's a few sleepers. We love st Joe river.
