Recreation.gov

Anyone camped at any of the recreation.gov areas in Tennessee? How are the campgrounds? Are any of them full hookup?

I 2nd Defeated Creek, it's very very nice.

Indian Boundary near Vonore & Cedar Creek near Nashville are outstanding as well.

Pick a campground all the information is available online. I use Recreation.gov regularly the only thing I have a problem is a lack of photos of campsites at some campgrounds.

You can sometimes counter that by checking https://www.campsitephotos.com/

    Trees always those dam trees.
  • Defeated Creek COE park is one of my favorite places. Full hookup lakefront sites. About an hour east of Nashville.
  • In that box on rec.gov that says 'where do you want to go", type in Tennessee. I think we stayed at a COE park or two but I'd have to check my logbook, those are mostly w/e tho not FHU

  • We have camped twice at Land between the Lakes (LBL),Canal Campground. I believe they have some FHU there.
