Review - RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads

We were looking for a place to stay overnight that had power so that we could run the small electric heater for the cold night. All sites are pull throughs with easy access. I called in to check on availability and they said they had plenty of open slots. The full hook up sites were $33.75 with the Good Samโ€™s discount versus $30 for just power for the express sites. They let me know that they had self-check-in after the office closed at 5. The location is close to the interstate, less than 2 miles off but far enough away that the Interstate traffic was just a faint hum. We got checked in and hooked up. They have 22 cable channels, unfortunately many of them are fuzzy. The wifi speed was also slow. The park is truly full service, showers, pool, hot tub, laundry, rec room with kitchen and a dog run. I would stay there again if transiting through but I am not sure I would spend the extra 4 dollars on cable.

The location is just off of I95 near Roanoke Rapids, NC near the Virginia border.

Thank you, Moderator. Argumentative types derail great threads like this.

And to the op, please take the time to post it at Tripadvisor.com which is a valuable resource for researching places for large numbers of RVers. We'll appreciate it!

DEFINITELY post a review over at Trip Advisor.com

Many of the forum members and RVers are not using rvparkreviews because of problems with conflict of interests as they have campground owners as moderators.

Let Woodalls know too.
Actually a couple of forum members have issues, the vast and I do mean VAST percentage of RVers looking for reviews and posting reviews use rvparkreviews.com as their go to site. And Woodalls is being phased out. I guess Trip Advisor is a good alternative to people who want to slam a park's employees and policies, since those are the reviews the moderators at rvparkreviews.com are looking to eliminate. They want reviews that tell people something about the actual park.

There was a thread about this very issue on another forum last week. This is a link that you might want to read some good info on.

Got stranded there for a week last Oct. Fridge broke down & had to wait for a new one. They let us use their fridge in the common room so we would not lose food. Good people. The longtimers there were pretty good too.
