RV Park/Campground near Grants Pass u like ?

Looking for a 3-day stopover at Grants Pass on way to Bullards Beach Campground - want to go see Oregon Caves among other things.

Anyone have a favorite place .. have looked at the website & RV Reviews for Jack's Landing RV Resort .. haven't been in Grant's Pass before except to drive thru ..
  • Like this park

Valley of the Rouge State Park is just a little further south. Nice park, can get crazy in the summer during peak use.

Have been here http://www.riverparkrvresort.com/twice. Once with a river view, once w/o. Very quiet and clean. Staff are super nice. -- skipped ---

Thank you - we looked them all over and decided on Riverpark RV Resort - from the Google maps, it looks it will work for where we want to go and should be fairly quiet from I-5 noise.

Thank you everyone for sharing your ideas.

If you want to stop a bit short at Canyonville, the 7 Feathers Casino has both an RV park and dry camping.

They want to spend time at Grants Pass, 7 Feathers is 40+ miles north and you have to go over 3 passes. They would spend $ for gas and time to and from GP.

We go to Grants Pass a few times a year as my parents live there. We like Josephine County, Schroeder Park. It is along the Rogue River and is very nice. No TV but they do have full hook ups incl 50 amp. Most of the sites are back ins and I have never seen it full. Quiet residential setting.

The other park we have stayed at is Riverpark RV.

    We like Schroeder Park also.

For aquick over niter it's Valley of the Rogue.
  • I'll second Valley of the Rogue. Easy on/off I-5. No road noise that we noticed. If there was it was drowned out by the river.
Plus you can't beat FHU for $24/night. Then you can use your stay tag to access any Oregon State park day use facility without paying additional fees.
