Rv park close to Overland Park, or Lenexa Kansas

Question

My wife wants to try to find the grave of one of her relatives in Hillsdale, and we were looking for a campground in the area, but she can not find anything. If anyone knows of a place to spend a couple of nights you would make me a hero to her.

I know there is camping at Pamona Lake but I've never been there...looks like about 20-30 minutes from Hillsdale.

Hillsdale State Park should work, it's Corp of Engineers lake.  Also, Paola has a nice campground, not far from Hillsdale.  I am sure there is more and most likley never full unless holiday weekend.

Hillsdale sp is nice. If you want to stay in KC there is an RV park on Johnson dr. In Merriam. I thinks it's walnut grove RV park. Set our camper up there once for out of town guests.

There is a Good Sam/Yogi park at Lawrence,KS.  Should be pretty close to where you want to be.
