rv parks in Yuma while having dental work in MX.

So getting ready to go see the Rubio dental group in ALGODONES. I have researched a few RV parks and there is a big difference in rates for those that include or meter electricity. My camping is almost always Boondocking so I have no idea how much electricity my AC will consume. Any thoughts from those that have stayed in Yuma during the summer?

I'm in a 11 ft TC. I could boondock but than will be using lots of propane to power Gen Set.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Are you going to let your TC on your truck when going to Algodones for the day or will it stay at the park plugged in?

It's hotter than hell there now. Boon docking is out of the question. Play it safe. Lots of open RV sites every where in Yuma now. You probably could negotiate a cheaper weekly rate too. 11 ft TT, won't take much electricity to stay cool.
I was there 10 days ago, it was hotter than that.
So big a world, so little time to see.

I have a renter in Yuma that is using on average 65 kwh of power each day with a 30 ft 5th wheel trailer. Power in Yuma is about $0.17 per kwh.

It is hot in Yuma in July and August. 100-114 daytime 85-100 night time.

Dental work usually doesn't take more than 1 to 3 days, maybe 5 at most. Since you like to boondock, just stay in the RV parking area at the Quichean Casino. It is less than a mile from the border and they have security driving around 24/7. At least they did when I was there in December.

I haven't priced it, but I bet propane(generator) is cheaper than electricity in Arizona.
