rvparkreviews web site---how do I sign up?

I was interested in registering on rvparkreviews.com, to be able to offer some (hopefully) helpful input for other RVers.

It won't let me register without downloading a PDF "converter" which also contains a toolbar and a bunch of advertising.

Is this "normal"???? I despise getting stuff like that on my computer. Has anyone else tried to sign up there recently?

It's really disappointing that an otherwise great website is promoting this type of adware.

If I were you, I'd ask for my membership fees back. Oh, wait. Its free. Never mind. All you have to do is remove it from your "Favorites" list.

I don't think Bayley's prices are over the top. The prices in the OOB area are expensive to begin with, combine that with the shorter summer season, being on the east coast and Bayley's offering by far the most amenities compared to the competing campgrounds around them, their prices fall right in line...IMHO

Enjoy the pool with 100 kids in it. I'm sure you will love the kids having marshmallow gun fights around your campsite on your picnic table attracting hordes of ants the next day.
Again, Rvparkreviews.com works, after looking up Bayleys, it wasn't the reviews that bothered me, it's the absolutely ridiculous price that would scare me off.:E

RVPARKREVIEWS is a joke. It is unprofessional, slow, and many reviews never get posted. Waste of time. Plus, many reviews are subjective. I strongly disliked Bayleys in Maine yet thousands go there and love it.

See that proves the site works as your review would be the one I would ignore.

It is a free site, looking for the people who actually used the park to tell others how it was. Some see things differently than I do, but using it as a guide so you kind of know what your getting is to me a goods thing. If your not going to follow their rules of posting a certain number of reviews before they print your first one, Oh well. You can sure show them can't you. Like someone else said, your only hurting the park you really liked from getting a good review.

OK I will give it another shot! Apparently there's something I'm missing.

I agree, it is a very helpful site. That's why I want to contribute!

UPDATE: I figured it out. You have to go to the "submit review" link on the front page, then on over to the signup page.

We've been using it ever since we went out and would never go to a campground without checking it out on RV Park Reviews. I think it's the best source of real time experiences.

You are not hurting RV Prkreviews but you are hurting the campground you wanted to post.

I always use it but I keep in mind that 1) Some folks have a bad experience so if I see a 9-9-2 8 then while I will read what is said, but I'd be more tempted to go there than one that gives 4 4 4 9 5 rating. 2) Some of the reviews are years old and it that is the case its a******shoot what you will get and 3) its possible that "friends" are posting.
So the best way to use the site is for us all to add our reviews when ever we go camping so thanks for adding your 2 cents. Its worth it to all of us.

Edit. Whoops, I guess that game is a bad word.LOL

No issues registering and all my reviews, both negative and positive are still there. I find the information fairly accurate after weeding out the overly positive/negative reviews. Whenever we venture into unknown territory, it is the first website we open, quick and responsive, never slow, we've bookmarked it as one of our favorites.
