S. OR. Coast Rv parks walking distant to beach and town

We are going back this year to Harris Beach State Park and Ocean Side RV Resort

Both of the following RV Parks right on the ocean.

Brookings - Beachfront RV Park (some things within walking distance but a drive to the actual town of Brookings)

Coos Bay/Charleston - Oceanside RV Park (drive to town)

OR SP's are know for having great campgrounds. Harris Beach has been mentioned. Near Coos Bay, Sunset Bay SP has a magnificent setting. The bay is bounded by a couple of large rock pinnacles that protect the area from wind. Not walking distance to town, but not very far to drive.

Bullards Beach is another CG near the ocean, but a fairly long walk (2 miles) to town.

Compared to most private parks, the OR SP's have good spacing and fair privacy between sites. The three CG's I've mentioned all have FHU. Get reservations now as things are getting pretty full for the summer.

Harris is outstanding - just north of Coos Bay is Honeyman which is nice.

Harris Beach State Park in Brookings comes to mind.
