Exactly. If the IRS can't find anything, I'm not sure what the average voter or journalist will find in his tax returns.

If there's a way to responsibly extract oil & gas from public lands and have the royalties go towards NPS's infrastructure funding, I'm all for it. That's really no different than revenue from concessions, grazing, logging, or even hydro-electric plants that exist in NFS lands...
