Salt Lake City KOA

Hi, there. We're considering staying for a night at the Salt Lake City KOA. Anyone ever stayed there? Is it somewhere you'd recommend? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks!
  • Are you familiar with RVPARKREVIEWS.COM

  • If the KOA doesn't pan out for you, try Pony Express RV Park. It's not far at all from downtown. We stayed there 30 days this summer and we were super happy with them. Very clean and well run park. We saw all kinds of rigs from high end RVs to T@B trailers. We'd stay there again.

  • And thanks for the link to the review guide, Darsben. I had not seen that before --- looks like it's a helpful resource.
  • We have stayed there twice. Very nice, a lot of trees and plenty of grass, good space between sites.
  • The SLC KOA is a very large park with large spaces. This time of year there are plenty of spaces available. Pretty good access from I15 and I80.
Really convenient to downtown using the Trax Light Rail which has a stop right across the street from the office.
  • x2 on the nice park. You'll need a really good warer presure regulator.
  • We stayed there twice this past year. Really nice park. If you need to change your water pump there are auto part stores just down the block. Walmart etc. near by. Yes there was some noise from the train but it didn't bother us at all!
  • I've stayed there 4 or 5 times, most recently this summer. It is a wonderful in city campground. Lots of shade, large sites, clean pool, spotless bathrooms and laundry. A very large park with adjacent long term park making it nice for walking or biking. Central location to Salt Lake City, with the Temple Square just a few miles away. If you have time consider a few hours at Temple Square to walk through the gardens. Brio's restaurant in the shopping center across from Temple Square was excellent. If you have an extra day take the drive to Antelope Island. But as for Salt Lake City KOA I offer my highest recommendation to the park and to the employees.
  • Pony Express is a very nice park. The KOA may be nice, but it's still a KOA (Keep On Adding $).
