Scusset Beach Ma.

We go to Scusset about once a year (going in Aug). I think no dogs on beach (except off season). I've never had an issue on the bike path with my dogs, but I always get off to the side when someone is on-coming. Yes, new electric, that's why they went from $20 a nite to $32 a night (plus a $2/per nite surcharge for preservation/maintenance. Agnes

Yup, welcome to Mass. They ride down the middle of the street as well, and yell if you pass them too close. Never see them stopping for a stop sign tho...

We were there last May, and brought our beagle. It was nice walking her, but use a short leash, especially on the paved walk/ bike path. People are speeding by on bikes and believe that they own the path. Yelling at people with dogs. I stopped taking her there after two days. Also, the worst place for large ticks! Check the hound carefully every day.

Not sure about the dogs part, but yeah, they were closed until July 1st redoing the electrical. They opened half the sites in July and will open the rest in August. I stopped into the office the end of May or beginning of June and there were 3 people answering the phones. When I asked when they were taking reservations, the woman at one of the phones said "Now for early July - good luck".
