I stayed at Tom Sawyers CG on the Mississippi and that CG goes completely under water when the Mississippi overflows. The CG website even states they will be open depending if the ole Mississippi hasn't covered it and to call ahead before coming!
The Mississippi hits flood stage quite often. You might want to google search how often it overflows "in the area" you are looking. Just saying!
You can check with the COE.

- jason4598ExplorerThe only seasonal site on the river that I know of is north of Cassville. It is called Schleichers Landing. I'm sure it floods most springs. With electric hookups eight feet off the ground they expect to have high water.
