With unmanned aerial vehicles, small airplanes equipped with cameras and sometimes communicating with the owner who is radio controlling the plane, they can make some fantastic videos nowdays.

Yet some of the camera aircraft are in the way of firefighters, and this must be avoided! Many of these small aircraft are doing a great job and are able to soar with the birds, because they are quiet, and small enough not to intimidate them! They can take never before seen pictures of caves, canyons, ect. . .

That was neat was hoping for footage closer to canyon though

This wasn't taken around the national park. Air space around the canyon is closely monitored.
