Sheboygan, Wisconsin campgrounds

Thanks for those suggestions. The reviews on many of those weren't fantastic. Lucky for me, I just caught wisconsin's reserve americas site at the right time, someone just cancelled that weekend and I was able to reserve those two nights I needed!!!!! Have to change sites after two days but then stay put for 5! Woooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooo!

Sheboygan County Marsh is a very nice public campground near Elkart Lake, Wi. Plymouth Rock campground is a large, nice campground just north of Plymouth, Wi. Westward Ho is another nice park west of Plymouth. All are only about 10 miles from Kohler park.

Since Wisconsin state parks are reservable 11 months in advance, it's tough finding some. You might look into (I think it's) Harrington Beach SP, perhaps 1/2 hour south of Kohler-Andrae. It used to be a day-use park but they added a campground a few years back; we never had a chance to check it out before moving, but have heard it's nice.

You might check RVparkreviews.com - there are several private CGs within 15-20 miles of Sheboygan. Not nearly as nice as Kohler-Andrae, but then, very little is, IMO. Good luck!
