- One I'd add to the list is Red Rock Canyon State Park 25 miles northeast of Mojave on Highway 14.
- Camped at half of those.
Not a fan of the desert so that eliminated some.
Pt Mugu SP was in our backyard. It's a little known jewel in SoCal.
Big Sycamore was our regular getaway. - We do have some nice campgrounds here, don't we? And these look like real camping, not resorts. Thanks for the list.
