St Augustine campgrounds

We want to spend Thanksgiving week in St Augustine with the in laws. (wow, oh boy)
Checking the various CG rating sites there doesn't seem to be any CGs with full hook ups that are very highly rated or well spoken of. I would think in an area so dependent on tourism that there would be at least one CG that could truly be called a "resort".
Any suggestions for a nice CG with full hook up in St Augustine?

Make up your mind and get it booked. Snowbirds start coming down in November.

North Beach where I'd stay, mainly because of its location. We stay there often. Note that they will give preference to more "tenured" customers.

It gets mixed reviews on RV Park Reviews, but it looks like just a few negative reviews.

We generally stay at North Beach, this Thanksgiving we will give Stage Coach a try. We tried the KOA once and it was OK, sites are close together though.
We went to Ocean Grove 2 years ago and won't be going back. The site they gave us turned into a real mud hole after a rain. What a mess.

North Beach CG is an excellent facility. Full hookups, cable TV, huge sites, a nice pool area that still may be open. It is a private campground, but don't let the name Resort spook you. Google it and look at images. On reviews, people always say it is sandy - well, it is right across from the Atlantic, and the intra-coastal is behind. Two good restaurants within walking distance with dining on the water. Caps and Aunt Kate's. It is a little pricey, but well worth it.

We stay a week there every summer so I know a bit about the place.

Ocean Grove is on the Intracoastal Waterway and you can join others to watch the sunset and have drinks. Its in town and you can catch a shuttle to downtown. Near shopping and restaurants. Twice the price of Stagecoach.

We usually at Stagecoach if we cant get into Anastasia State Park.

Bryn Mawr is on the ocean. A tad pricey and very tight.

Northbeach has dirt roads but it should be dry that time of year.

We have also stayed at North Beach CG. We really enjoyed it. We stayed up front, closer to the pool, and it felt like we were in a state park.

Agree with accsys, we love Stagecoach RV Park. It is a very nice park and the owners are great.

We always stay at Stagecoach RV Park. Just off I-95 far enough to be quiet, easy in and out FHU pull-throughs, about five minutes from both outlet malls and several restaurants, and 15 minutes from downtown St. Augustine.

Pellicer Creek off Rt 1 has full hookups. Small park, a little roads noise but nice people. Stayed there a few days on my way south last year.
