St Augustine, FL - places to stay?
My DW would like to escape to the St. Augustine, FL area for a few weeks this winter if possible. Any suggestions for places to stay and things to do? Debating driving our class C down or trying to ...

I live not too far from St. Augustine, about 30 miles. My DW is from there. If you like shopping the Outlet Mall is over at State Rd 16 and I-95. Camping World also has a location near the mall. On Wednesday morning there is a farmers Market at the St. Augustine beach pier and Saturday there is a farmers market at the St. Augustine amphitheater by the lighthouse, I think it is open 8-noon. There is also the St. Johns River Farmer's Market on State Rd 13 near Switzerland in Alpine Grove Park, open 10-2.
To eat where the locals eat, go to Aunt Kate's on A1A at Vilano Beach next to North Beach Camp, O'Steens on A1A on the island near the bridge of Lions, Nalu's Tropical Takeout at the SurfStation parking lot which is at the entrance of Anastasia State Park. Try the Baja Fish Tacos, best in town. Sunset Grille south of the pier, Conch House too. I could go on and on there is a lot to do here, come on down.
